Hardik Pandya is an important cog in India’s scheme of issues for the T20 World Cup. In the primary T20I towards Australia, that India misplaced by 4 wickets, Hardik Pandya’s batting was a giant plus. While veterans like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma did not hit massive, Pandya scored 71* – his highest rating in T20Is after 52 innings. Then he bowled two overs, giving freely 22 runs. Former India coach Ravi Shastri thinks that Pandya is the no. 1 T20I allrounder on this planet. However, former Pakistan cricket workforce captain Rashid Latif feels that Ben Stokes is forward of Hardik as allrounder.
“There’s little doubt that he (Hardik) is an excellent participant, nevertheless it’s a bilateral sequence. You see such innings in bilateral sequence. The Asia Cup concluded lately, and you must rely these performances too. I’m not speaking about right this moment’s (Tuesday) match, however Ben Stokes is confirmed. He gained the World Cup and he gained Test matches for England,” Latif said in a video on YouTube channel ‘Caught Behind’.
“So, I do not assume you may even examine in relation to (performances) on the bottom. Because a trophy is a trophy. World Cup or Test matches, Ben Stokes is forward of Hardik in that. Having stated that, sure, a few of Hardik’s innings have been higher than Ben Stokes. But having higher innings and being higher than Stokes are two utterly various things.”
India and Pakistan begin their T20 World Cup with a recreation towards one another on October 23.
